Executive Support for Sustainable Nonprofit Operations
This project offers students an opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of a grassroots environmental nonprofit, working alongside the Executive Director. The placement focuses on contributing to internal communication, administrative coordination, and special projects that support the organization's overall mission and sustainability. Students will have the opportunity to observe and assist with core aspects of nonprofit leadership, including organizational planning, stakeholder engagement, compliance-related coordination, and internal documentation. The exact tasks will vary based on current organizational priorities and the student’s skill set. This placement provides a meaningful opportunity to build practical knowledge of nonprofit operations in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Sustainability & Community Engagement Initiative
This role focuses on advancing sustainability initiatives on campus by supporting outreach efforts, event coordination, and community engagement. Participants will work closely with the Chapter Coordinator to develop and implement strategies that enhance program operations, volunteer engagement, and sustainability-focused initiatives. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in sustainability programming, leadership, and community engagement while directly supporting impactful campus initiatives.
Campus Sustainability Program Coordination
The Campus Sustainability Program Coordination project aims to support and enhance Regenesis Toronto's sustainability initiatives on campus. The project focuses on developing and implementing strategies to oversee operations, engage communities, and coordinate events for impactful programs such as the Borrowing Centre, Free Store, and Digin! Campus Agriculture. Participants will gain hands-on experience in leadership, organizational development, and sustainability-focused program management. The project seeks to strengthen and expand campus-based sustainability programs. By collaborating with the Chapter Coordinator, students will align project priorities with Regenesis’s mission and ensure strategic alignment in planning sessions.
Regenesis Digital Engagement Initiative
The Regenesis Digital Engagement Initiative is designed to enhance Regenesis's online presence and community interaction by developing and implementing creative social media campaigns that align with Regenesis's mission of sustainability and community empowerment. Participants will create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and analyze audience engagement to increase awareness and participation in Regenesis's programs. By fostering connections with diverse audiences, the project seeks to inspire action and collaboration towards a more sustainable future. It also focuses on building a repository of creative content for long-term use, ensuring ongoing visibility and engagement.
