Materials will support in-person or virtual delivery for up to 15 participants, covering erosion control, SWPPP fundamentals, BMP phasing, inspection protocols, and documentation. Templates and regulatory guides will be provided to simplify compliance tasks. Learners will focus on English materials, with Spanish translations handled by provided resources, ensuring alignment with environmental science or civil engineering skills for a single-discipline team.

SWMP Data Model & Upload Logic Prototype
Design a MongoDB data model and upload logic for SmartComplAI’s SWMP versions. Learners will create a schema, implement form/file validation, and improve UX wireframes using MongoDB and UX tools, applying data modeling skills. Database access and UX templates will be provided.

Competitor Analysis & Market Landscape Report
Analyze stormwater/compliance SaaS competitors for SmartComplAI’s positioning. Learners will research five competitors, compare features/pricing, conduct SWOT analysis, identify market gaps, and recommend differentiation, applying business intelligence skills. Competitor lists, research templates, and market data will be provided to guide learners.

Intro to EPA & State Permit Research for SmartComplAI
Examine EPA and one state’s permit structure to aid SmartComplAI’s expansion. Learners will map regulations, compare with CDPHE COR400000, propose one ClearFlow overlay, and summarize SWPPP trends, applying basic policy research skills. Video tutorials, term glossaries (e.g., CDPHE, SWPPP), templates, and database access will link tasks to introductory environmental policy coursework.
