Salem State has been incredibly helpful in supporting a rich internship experience for their students. In our recent experience our project was moved forward by a significant degree, and as such we would be happy to work with them anytime in the future. :)

Learner Teams demonstrated the following skills in their Capstone Engagement: => Initiative => Leadership => Principles of Accounting => Data Analytics ---> Descriptive and Inferential Statistics The teams engaged and executed their Capstone Projects with the least level of attention from our (Industry Partner) side.

Students attended only a few meetings, missing weekly sessions and lack of focus made deliverables half completed if at all. Not the best experience.

It was worthwhile to try a team project even though the class was an asynchronous structure.

Very friendly and respectful teacher. She always responds to our emails and requests very quickly. However, students often complained that they did not receive adequate support for this project, which may have contributed to the lack of engagement of many of them. Many times it was us, CTS, who contacted the students to ask if they had any questions and clarify the project, but at a certain point we stopped contacting the students constantly, as it did not make sense for the client (CTS) to always have to seek support from service providers (students and teacher). Despite this, two presentations had ideas that can be used in our company, and we can apply the others in the future when the company is more robust.

It was a pleasure having students consider sustainability and contribute to our project; thank you for the opportunity!

A very nice Winter 2025 Data Analytics innovative education project experience for the Salem State University learner teams with Herrington Technology.
